Built in Bengaluru, for every CBSE student chasing a better rank.
BoardAlgo is a Bengaluru-based startup on a mission to make board-exam preparation data-driven, personal, and genuinely predictive — not just another question bank.
Why we exist
Every year, lakhs of CBSE Class 10 and 12 students prepare for board exams the same way students did a decade ago: generic guides, static PDFs, and guesswork about what will actually appear on the paper. Meanwhile, every board paper ever set is public data — patterns, repeated concepts, marking schemes, and examiner behaviour are all sitting there, unused. BoardAlgo exists to close that gap with AI.
What we build
We combine large language models with structured analysis of past CBSE papers, NCERT curriculum mapping, and strict marking-scheme logic to give students three things traditional coaching can't scale: a Concept Predictor that surfaces high-probability topics from historical trends, a Strict Examiner that grades answers the way a board evaluator actually would, and a continuously growing bank of 50,000+ curated, board-level practice questions — all wrapped in a progress report that tells a student exactly where they're weak, not just what score they got.
How we work
We are a small, product-first team headquartered in Bengaluru, India. We ship fast, read every piece of user feedback, and treat exam-season reliability as non-negotiable — board season doesn't pause for downtime, and neither do we. We also work directly with schools and coaching institutes that want BoardAlgo's engine deployed for their own students under custom, B2B terms.
Where we're headed
Our roadmap is simple: sharper predictions, faster and stricter grading, and a mnemonic and revision layer that makes the last month before boards count for more than the eight before it. If you're a student, teacher, or institute who wants to be part of that, we'd love to hear from you.
