These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BoardAlgo, an AI-powered board exam preparation platform for CBSE Class 10 & 12 students, operated by a Bengaluru, India-based company ("BoardAlgo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

BoardAlgo is intended for CBSE Class 10 & 12 students. You are responsible for providing accurate account information (including your board class, which determines your pricing), keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Where you are a minor, use of the Service should be supervised or consented to by a parent or guardian.

2. The Service

BoardAlgo provides AI-assisted tools including, without limitation:

  • Solution Finder — step-by-step solutions for Physics & Math problems.
  • Concept Predictor — AI analysis of past-paper trends to guide revision priority.
  • Practice Set — a curated bank of 50,000+ board-level questions.
  • Practice History — a permanent record of sets attempted and results.
  • Strict Examiner — AI grading against CBSE-style marking schemes.
  • Mnemonics — generated memory aids for formulas and sequences.
  • Progress Report — accuracy and weak-area analytics.

AI-generated solutions, grades, and predictions are study aids based on statistical and model-based analysis. They are provided "as is" and do not guarantee any specific exam score, grade, rank, or outcome.

3. Plans & payment

BoardAlgo offers a Free plan with standard usage limits and a paid Pro plan with higher limits and priority access, priced according to your registered board class. We also offer custom B2B plans for educational institutes. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and are payable in advance via our payment gateway. The browser never determines your price — it is resolved and verified server-side at checkout.

4. No-refund policy

No refund will be provided on any purchase made on BoardAlgo, under any circumstances — including but not limited to change of mind, partial use, dissatisfaction with AI output, or early cancellation. Please review the plan details carefully, and use the Free plan to evaluate the Service, before making a purchase. This policy applies equally to individual Pro purchases and to institute/B2B plans unless a separate written agreement explicitly states otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, or provide access to your account or purchased plan to others.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage/rate limits, security measures, or class-based pricing.
  • Use the Service to submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the platform's question bank, model outputs, or underlying systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its question bank, AI-generated explanations, mnemonics, design, and underlying technology, is owned by BoardAlgo or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as photos of your own answers), but grant us a licence to process it in order to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we build BoardAlgo to closely mirror CBSE marking and curriculum standards, we do not guarantee that AI grading, predictions, or content are error-free, or that they will match your school's or the board's actual evaluation in every instance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoardAlgo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including exam outcomes.

9. Institute / B2B terms

Educational institutes seeking custom deployments should contact us for a tailored agreement covering pricing, student volume, and reporting. Unless expressly agreed in writing, the no-refund policy in Section 4 applies to institute plans as well.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
